1df09860aadc37ce4bd867cf5891b898 LPuerto Padre, Las Tunas.- Mirna María Muñoz Rivas, in charge of community work in the vicinity joined to the collection of solid waste on the banks of the coast. She spoke to the pioneers about the importance and care of mangroves in the local bay.

The students and teachers of the different education levels in Puerto Padre develop activities aimed at solving the six difficulties identified in the territory, related to soil improvement, solid waste collection, rational water use, and to abide the measures for coastal territorial planning.

In the so-called Villa Azul (Blue Village), the execution of actions to reverse the effects caused by climate change on the coastline is a priority, in which the educational sector plays a decisive role in the care and preservation of the environment.
