The 2024-2025 teaching calendar has ended.

The 2024-2025 school year officially closed on Friday after the Central Ceremony at the Ernesto Che Guevara pre-university institute in Vázquez, Puerto Padre. This teaching period ended with the intensity of what was experienced: final exams, worn-out backpacks, longer hugs, and the nostalgia that silently settles in the hallways and the blackboards.

The current academic calendar is in its final days.

With the participation of authorities, teachers, students, and families, the 39th graduation ceremony of the Luis Urquiza Jorge Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences (IPVCE) took place in Las Tunas. Some 177 students completed the twelfth grade at this high-performance school.

 The Las Tunas Pioneers Conference delegation met with the province's top authorities.

Osbel Lorenzo Rodríguez, first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) in Las Tunas, held an instructive meeting with the delegation attending the 64th Anniversary National Conference of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM), which will meet in Havana on June 14.
