To the pride of the people of Las Tunas and in recognition of a long history of excellence in innovative activity, the Provincial Center of Electromedicine has been honored with a direct delegate to the 3rd National Conference of the National Association of Innovators and Rationalizers (ANIR in Spanish).
Las Tunas, Cuba.- Robert Vanega Osorio, Director General of the center, assured 26 that this important achievement has been proudly embraced by the collective, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this June 25. It also constitutes a challenge and a commitment for the future.
This decision highlights the fact that the Center has held the 8 de Octubre ANIR Condition for 18 consecutive years, and of National Vanguard, because of the excellence of its innovative activity.
Its track record also includes several projects that have won awards of major national impact and social reach by maintaining vital first-rate services in the province's healthcare units.
It is also noteworthy that the collective has generated considerable savings for the country by replacing imports, and its work in life support equipment is an example at the national level.
Gerardo Gutiérrez Martínez will represent his workmates, who elected him for his outstanding role in the multiple and significant achievements of the Provincial Center of Electromedicine, since he has led the Committee of Innovators and Rationalizers of the institution for the last 11.
The 3rd National Conference of ANIR will take place next October. When called for the event, Lidier Águila Machado, national president of the organization, said that it will be an ideal space to assess, together with administrative officials, what more can be done from each workplace to benefit territorial development.
The organic process of this meeting also seeks to evaluate the functioning of the committees of innovators and rationalizers, as well as their participation in economic planning and decision-making based on the decentralized powers in each territory over the last five years.
