The polling stations in Las Tunas opened at the scheduled time and, from the first hours of the inauguration of the electoral authorities in each location; the people began to attend to exercise their right to vote.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- This was announced by Martha Rodríguez, president of the Provincial Electoral Commission, in her first exchange with the press, who highlighted the discipline and meticulousness with which the process has been organized.

Likewise, she explained that the information comes from the constituencies and confirmed that the morning passed very normally throughout the territory, and is expected to continue in the same way for the rest of the day.

The president of the electoral entity ratified the probity and ethics of those who work on the day and recalled that the scrutiny is public. Therefore, when the schools close at 6:00 pm, anyone who wants can observe the ballot count and know how the vote went in the neighborhood.

In this sense, she assured that the members of the electoral tables have the orientation of moving the closed ballot boxes to a nearby and larger space if the place where they are is small and many people are interested in participating at that moment, which allows full transparency and participation.
