The process in which the delegates were elected was successful.

Next December 17, the municipal assemblies of the People's Power will be constituted and, in Las Tunas, the process in which the delegates who will be present at this event were elected was successful.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Many of them have already lived the experience before, because 278 were reelected on this road (41.87 percent) and the new ones, who constitute the majority in the territory, now have the immense challenge of training, which cannot be a cold matter, behind a piece of paper, and requires assuming as their own the heartbeat of the community, walking it thoroughly to understand its pains and to be able to reverse dilemmas, in some cases old ones, and which increasingly require more and more the cooperation of all.

39.88 percent of the new delegates (266) are women and 14.39 percent are under 35 years of age (96), both forces have always been decisive in the neighborhoods and their voices will surely be valuable to assemble, more and more community spaces.

Martha Rodríguez, president of the Provincial Electoral Council, highlighted the 90.44 percent quality of the vote of those who went to the polls and congratulated the people of Tuna and the electoral entities for the transparency and seriousness with which the organization of the work during these dates was assumed.

He also recognized the broad representation of different sectors of society that the assemblies will have after this process. Because, among the elected delegates, there are those linked to production and services, sports, culture, political leaders, and leaders of social and mass organizations, of the local organs of the Popular Power, peasants, non-state workers, retirees, housewives, cooperative members, dockers, members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces and civilian workers, among others.

All of them are part of a greater gear that keeps them at the center of many processes and demands dedication, commitment, and sensitivity; core ingredients to building a better society together.
