LUDEMA opened a point of sales in Las Tunas

To the delight of the Las Tunas inhabitants and, above all, of those who have proudly seen how the LUDEMA, belonging to the Cuban Furniture Group (DUJO), has positioned among the most notorious in the country as regards the manufacture of modern furniture, recently opened in this city a point of sale for the commercialization of a varied line of furniture for the home.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Kenia López Leyva, an employee of the entity, assured 26 that the initiative is very well accepted because daily they average almost half a million pesos in sales and the demand is much higher than the supply, which so far has managed to maintain the supply unit.

"The point of sale is an old wish of the population and it materialized as part of Ludema's commitment, along with its great contributions to tourism, to bring products of proven comfort and quality to the population of Tuna", Kenia emphasized.

Among the offerings are the living room and dining room sets, shelves, backrests for beds, aluminum armchairs, tables for various uses, cushions, and pillows, all at affordable prices for local consumers.

The store is stocked daily," said Kenia. The company has organized a night shift to ensure that the variety of items is ready for customers in the morning. We still do not have a stable staff to increase the number of productions, as this is a very recent venture.

"The most in-demand are the aluminum chairs, we have limited the sale to a pair per person and even so we know that outside the store there are those who wait for days until they can buy them."

In this regard, customer Yudith González expressed her appreciation for the new store and recommended that to guarantee better organization and information to the public, the unit should have additional personnel to the two sales assistants who currently work there.

The point of sale opened to the public in the context of the Industry and Commerce Fair of the province, sells all its furniture in local currency, and plans to continue growing to maintain a stable presence in the local market.

The LUDEMA Furniture base business unit concluded last calendar with the commitment to guarantee the furniture of four hotels in Havana, a pole in which they remain for this year, with the inclusion of two new facilities: the hotel of K and 23, with more than 600 rooms, and Metropolis, with more than 200. Its economic plan is above 93 million pesos.

Among the projections for 2023, the entity foresees the completion of a new workshop for the manufacture of doors for tourism and export to other markets.
