All Popular Camping facilities in Las Tunas are at full capacity and already selling reservations for this summer season.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- José Daniel Sardina Martínez, the director of the entity, announced it to the press during the celebration of its 42nd anniversary.
The manager explained that they have worked hard; they have the necessary resources and, both, the usual bases and extra hotel facilities are in optimal conditions to receive those who bet on recreation in these places.

In the act for the founding anniversary, they highlighted the effort of the workers of the six camping sites in the territory, while the four that have been in operation for 40 years were distinguished: Guayabal, Playa Corella, Río Jobabo, and Los Pinos.

At the idea of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, on May 16, 1981, the National Popular Camping Company was created; the province of Pinar del Río was chosen for the first facilities due to the abundance of exuberant natural landscapes, ideal for hiking.
