Management and command bodies trained in specifying the vulnerability reduction documents

Increasing the preparation of people and entities to reduce damages in the event of disasters of sanitary, technological, or natural origin is the main objective of the Meteoro Exercise 2023, which takes place this weekend.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- During the first day, the management and command bodies trained in specifying the vulnerability reduction documents, and the organizations that carry out surveillance and monitoring actions presented information related to their activity.

This Sunday, the collection of solid waste, cleaning of ditches and canals, the elimination of micro-dumps, and the securing of roofs are planned, among other actions that prevent economic losses and harm to people. A practical exercise of danger zoning will be held in Cuba’s Oil Union distribution company (CUPET), which will end with the hypothetical mass reception of the wounded at Dr. Ernesto Guevara General Teaching Hospital.
