The significant results and actions of high social relevance of the workers of the Passenger Transport and General Cargo Company (CARDINAL), from this eastern Cuban province, during the confrontation with the COVID-19, were awarded the Flag of Prowess Labor, in a ceremony held in the José Martí Plaza.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The banner, granted by the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC), commends the hard work of a group that maintained the essential services of the sector even in the tensest conditions of the pandemic. During all these months, CARDINAL's role was decisive, for example, in the transfer of workers from productive units and services that remained active to keep the country running, even in the midst of social distancing measures.

The youth contingent of the entity received the Jóvenes por la Vida Condition (Youth for Life), in fair recognition of their efforts in support of compliance with the sanitary provisions at public transport stops.
