
The municipality of Amancio has recently been the center of attention with the reopening of several spaces for the enjoyment of its residents, as part of the activities held across the province to celebrate July 26th, the National Rebellion Day.
Las Tunas, Cuba.- Accompanied by the highest authorities of the Cuban Communist Party and Government in Las Tunas, as well as the director of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation (Inder) in the territory, Esnaido Estanque, the residents reinaugurated the sports areas at the Enrique José Varona Elementary School, for indoor soccer, volleyball, and basketball.
This is the first time that the southern municipality of Las Tunas has a Chess Academy, where people can learn and practice the so-called science game, with the support of instructors, in addition to the Gregorio Pérez Sports History Room.

The Elpidio Valdés Children's Park joined the popular celebration, now more colorful, with refurbished playground equipment and improved conditions for the little ones.
Osbel Lorenzo Rodríguez, First Secretary of the PCC in the province, told the "Amancio" inhabitants that these works also tribute to the celebration of the centenary birth anniversary of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
The joy in this municipality in southern Las Tunas is evident; its residents now have recreational spaces with improved conditions.
