The Center for Information and Technological and Environmental Management (CIGET) Las Tunas launched the call for the most important international event in this sector, this time in virtual mode, with the aim of promoting the development and improvement of Science and Innovation in the advancement of the business sector towards a society of computerization, communication and knowledge in pursuit of sustainable development.
As announced to 26 the M.Sc. María de Jesús Lozano Ávila, director of CIGET, "from February 24 to March 1, 2021, the contest will be held, dedicated to the celebrations for the Day of the Computer and Communications Worker.”
In this edition, as it is a virtual modality due to the restriction measures to avoid contagion with the COVID-19, a digital site was created and will be available in which the participants will be authenticated during the event. "In it, the papers and presentations sent by the participants can be read, downloaded, and commented through an interactive discussion forum designed for the event."
The characteristics that distinguish this special edition of Tecnogest and the call for those interested in Cuba and the world are posted in the digital platforms of CIGET, an institution belonging to the Institute of Scientific and Technological Information (IDICT) and the Agency for Nuclear Energy and Advanced Technologies (AENTA), attached to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment.
At the meeting, "the discussions will focus on issues associated with technological innovation, intellectual property, the environment, human capital management, communication, information technology, and local development, among other related issues.
"At the close of the event, a special publication will be issued with the presented papers, registered with ISBN, and certificates of attendance will be delivered to the participants. The best papers will be published in a special edition of our Technological Innovation magazine, highly prestigious in the sector of science,” the director concluded.
