The 60th Anniversary flag of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) arrived on Wednesday in the province of Las Tunas, by the 17 de Mayo agricultural production cooperative, in the community of La Yaya, in "Jesús Menéndez", a municipality bordering Holguín.

In the same way, in the eight municipalities, the flag will be on different farms of prominent peasants, both in livestock and in various crops, and in some sugarcane squads with good performance in what has elapsed of the current sugar harvest.

The member of the ANAP Bureau for political-ideological work, Michel Peña Infante, explained that, as part of the itinerary, the flag will arrive at the Manifiesto de Montecristi agricultural polytechnic institute, in the municipality of Jobabo, where future medium-level technicians in Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine and other specialties are being trained.

On its first day in Las Tunas, the flag was transferred to the platoon of combined cutting machines of the Justo Bruzón agricultural production cooperative, millionaire for four years in cutting sugarcane.

The symbol also arrived at the Los Cocos farm, owned by peasant Eugenio Pérez Almaguer, associated with the José Manuel Rodríguez credit and services cooperative, and a leading producer of chickpeas and other grains, fruit trees and medicinal plants.

The flag's journey, during its first day in Las Tunas, ended at the Reytel Jorge Velázquez credit and services cooperative, in the rural community of Vedado 3, in the southern part of the municipality, where a meeting was held with farmers, to evaluate the general performance in 2020 and the projections for the current calendar.
