Repair and maintenance of household electrical equipment

The creation of small shops and the leasing of premises are among the actions of the Provincial Company of Technical, Personal and Home Services of Las Tunas to streamline its management and respond to the provisions of the Ordering Task.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Alexander Cruz Mora, deputy director of the entity, told the Cuban News Agency that, up to now, there are 11 stores established to deliver a group of slow-moving inventory items that were in warehouses and that are in great demand by the population.

"In less than 20 days since the opening, it was possible to sell 250 thousand pesos and it is expected that, in the current year, about three million pesos shall be collected for this concept," he pointed out.

Besides, of the 79 units that make up the Las Tunas service network, 31 are already in the modality of leasing to self-employed workers.

Cruz Mora explained that "as long as the corporate purpose of each establishment is respected and higher quality service is offered than that offered by our Company, the projection is that most of these units will move towards such management modality."

The Ordering Task, the manager added, gave way to an important transformation process; a modification that covered more than 300 prices in terms of services and products, in programs such as the repair and maintenance of household electrical equipment, linked to the Energy Saving Program, the Más Bella hairdressing chain (More Beautiful), laundry self-services, shoe repair, barbershop, and atelier.

In a complex economic context such as the one the country is going through, these initiatives are part of a package of 46 measures designed by the entity to rescue services and solve some of the needs of the population in the eight municipalities of Las Tunas.

The actions also include the creation of the Vamos por Más brigades (Let's go for More), made up of those who work in sewing, hairdressing, equipment repair, and other activities, to offer a home-based service for both, diagnosis and solution of problems with personalized attention.
