The increase in positive cases for COVID-19 in Las Tunas soil, with the consequent instability of the epidemiological panorama, has conditioned that the Commerce and Gastronomy units are reorganized according to the new measures established in the territory to face the pandemic.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Dalgis Inés Pupo Hernández, acting director of Gastronomy in the Business Group of Commerce, assured 26 that cafeterias and restaurants will provide service until around 4:00 pm, taking extreme measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

The directive reiterated that they will continue to implement the takeaway or food delivery options, according to the indication of the Temporary Work Group in the province.

"Our telephones are enabled for the population to contract the food delivery service," said Pupo Hernández. In the case of restaurants that are in process of improvement, the clients can make the payment through electronic commerce.”

The Family Attention System (SAF), which welcomes 3,146 users in Las Tunas, will facilitate the delivery of lunch and dinner to the most vulnerable in their own homes.

The food stores and butchers of the Commerce regular network will work until noon, as well as the units from the gastronomic and services sectors that are leased, such as hairdressers, shoe and electrical appliance repair workshops.

The sale of modules - food and cleaning products - to the population is organized in the community itself, through the supply card, to avoid crowds.
