Plaque that distinguishes the work carried in anti-COVID-19 mass vaccination

The Cuban Central Trade Union (CTC) began recognizing the protagonists of the current vaccination process against the COVID-19 with the Abdala national immunogen, in full development in the municipality of Las Tunas.

Recognition for the work carried in anti-COVID-19 mass vaccinationLas Tunas, Cuba.- The tribute to the brave representatives of Health, the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education, and Recreation (INDER), and community workgroups began at the 3 de Octubre stomatological teaching clinic, which has been operating since July 29 as a vaccination center for the inhabitants of the Finlay and San José districts.

Leobanys Ávila Góngora, the secretary-general of the CTC in the province, and the member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba - and its first secretary in Las Tunas-, Manuel René Pérez Gallego, placed a plaque that distinguishes the work carried out by its collective in these days of urgency and perpetuates it in popular memory. They also exchanged with workers and people who were waiting for the hopeful puncture.

Ávila Góngora announced that the tribute will reach the 104 vaccination centers installed in the provincial capital, as an expression of the gratitude of the working class - and the people - to all those who unite wills and collaborate in the battle against the pandemic.

He said that these actions are part of the tribute to the 95th birthday of the Historical Leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, in whose memory the trade union movement of the province promotes days of voluntary work in support of the production of food in the agricultural poles, organoponic farms, areas for self-consumption and orchards; as well as cleaning and beautifying workplaces.
