muebles ludema las tunas

Las Tunas - For its integral work and exquisite quality in its productions, which has allowed it to conquer the luxury hotels in Cuba, Muebles Ludema, from Las Tunas, received today in its premises the Special Recognition of Economic-Productive Management, granted by the Association of Economists of Cuba (ANEC, by its acronym in Spanish).

Oscar Luis Hung Pentón, president of ANEC, and the Hero of the Republic of Cuba, Ramón Labañino Salazar, vice-president of the same association, presented the award to Ólmedo Rojas Ching, director of the industry, in the presence of the workers' collective and the main political and governmental authorities of the province.
Hung Pentón said that Ludema overachieves its plans by three percent and broke records by providing more than 13,000 pieces to 11 tourist facilities in the country, and has the background of having furnished three important hotels in Havana, such as the Manzana Kempinski, Gran Hotel and the ones of Prado and Malecón.
At the same time, Ludema negotiated offers in the Mariel Special Development Zone and responded quickly to the demand for mattresses and pillows for hospitals and isolation centers during the pandemic.
Media Luna, from Ciego de Avila (now MSMEs) and Muebles Ludema were the only entities based outside the capital that received the award at the Special Economic-Productive Day, announced last Friday in Havana.
The company of metallic structures Comandante Francisco (Paco) Cabrera (Metunas, by its Spanish acronym) and the company of Fishing were the other centers of Las Tunas nominated for this award, which also received stimuli on this day.
Among the 49 nominations in Cuba for the Special Recognition during the Economic-Productive Day, from October 7 to 28, five were congratulated: the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, the Finlay Institute of Vaccines, the Cuban Telecommunications Company, the agro-industrial MSME Media Luna and Ludema.
