The Lumberjacks manager Abeysi Pantoja and his staff announced the roster for the Elite League

The management body of the Leñadores (Lumberjacks), along with Las Tunas baseball authorities, announced the names of the 20 players that will participate in the 2nd Elite Baseball League.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- At the press conference, the start of the training stage on the 18th at the “Julio Antonio Mella” facilities was also announced. The roster will be completed by a dozen reinforcements to be selected by Abeysi Pantoja, on September 21.

While waiting for greater certainty about possible contracts in winter tournaments, Carlos Juan Viera, Yuniesky Larduet, and Roberto Súliban Baldoquín are included in the initial list. In this way, the green-and-red team is the second to comply with the procedure, only after Industriales, their rival on the opening,  on November 7.
