The criminals have managed to sow panic.

The situation remains tense today in Mirebalais, a town besieged by a coalition of gangs called Vivamos Juntos (VIVRE), which so far the Haitian National Police (PNH) finds impossible to control.

Port-au-Prince.- Attempts to take over the area began on Monday, and the bandits broke up and dispersed, so that gunshots have been heard in various parts of the city.

The Lyceum of Mirebalais serves as a base of operations for the criminals who managed to sow panic, although so far, no fatalities or bullet wounds have been reported among the inhabitants.

Local authorities expressed their dissatisfaction with the central government's lack of attention, which ignored their request for help.
