A sabotage terrorist group was captured in the Zaporozhia region.

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) on Friday reported the arrest of a sabotage terrorist group in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Moscow.- “An explosive device prepared for use was seized, as well as small automatic arms, ammunition for the same, and explosives,” the FSB public relations center said.

According to the press release, the Ukrainian special services coordinated the attack, with Alexander Pavlovich Umansky and Andrey Vladimirovich Nikulin, who are employees of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

“The saboteurs also collected information on the location of Russian military facilities, law enforcement (public) representatives and military personnel, as well as pro-Russia local residents,” the statement noted.

The FSB investigative department for the Zaporizhzhia region opened a criminal case against the two detained Ukrainian citizens. (PL)
