Russia has been conducting a special military operation in eastern Ukraine since February 24, 2022.

The Russian units of the South Battlegroup rejected the Ukrainian attempts to break the defenses in three main directions of the contact line, as informed on Monday by the group's spokesman Adim Astafiev.

Moscow.- The military officer also announced on Telegram that Ukrainian assault units tried to go on the offensive in the directions of Lysychansk, Soledar-Artioovsk, and Aleksandro-Kalinovsk on Sunday and were repelled and forced to withdraw to their starting points.

Astafiev said that the Russian aircraft hit manpower and firepower concentrations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Belogorovka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Chasov Yar, and Konstantinovka settlements.

The military forces also hit weapons and equipment groupings of the 110th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Avdiivka, and Tornado-S artillery systems hit the area of the 91st mechanized brigade in the Soledar-Artioemovsk direction.
