Nicaraguan Vice President Rosario Murillo highlighted the agreements signed by a Nicaraguan delegation with the Chinese side, strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Managua.- The Vice President explained that the agreements were signed as part of the first high-level conference of the global action forum for shared development held in China.

Murillo pointed out that the Nicaraguan representatives signed the agreements for the donation of Chinese buses, urea, and wheat with the president of the China Agency for International Development Cooperation, Luo Zhaohui.

Murillo mentioned other existing agreements between the two countries such as the Nuevas Victorias housing program; the water and sanitation project for the department of Matagalpa, as well as the studies for the construction of thermal plants.

“There have been multiple meetings in the development of this conference, and the important meetings held with comrade Luo Zhaohui (…) have allowed us to address all the points of cooperation programs developed in our Nicaragua by China, its president, and its people,” she said.

The Nicaraguan delegation to the forum is integrated by the presidential advisor for investment and international cooperation, Laureano Ortega, the Minister of Finance and Public Credit, Iván Acosta, and the ambassador of Nicaragua to China, Michael Campbell. (PL)
