Washington.- U.S. Interior Secretary Deb Haaland and tribal leaders blessed the pole Thursday during a ceremony on the National Mall. It was carved from a 400-year-old red cedar tree and will serve to raise awareness of Native issues and protecting sacred sites. (RHC)
