In this second phase of the post-COVID-19 recovery, the units of the Business Group of Commerce in Las Tunas are operating normally and the sale of some released products such as sugar and salt has been arranged in some stores, according to the established rotation, and in Ideal markets. 

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Odalys Marchant, director of Commerce, told 26Digital that the assurances of the monthly basic basket are guaranteed without setbacks and that they work to reach each family on the scheduled days.

"We want to inform the population that in July we will distribute one pound of sausage per capita, without subsidy, for people between 14 and 65 years old; and for children from zero to 13 and older adults over 65, a pound of chicken at 19.55 pesos,” the directive pointed out.

"As far as possible, we will continue to sell freed products such as sugar, salt, cornflour and Chocolé (milk and chocolate-based drink) in some stores of the regular network, depending on the availability of resources; and its distribution will obey a plan to bring the assortments to different popular councils equally.

“Depending on supplies, Ideal markets will also have these offers. Likewise, despite the stability of the epidemiological panorama, the sale of chlorine at one percent continues in all the points enabled in the eight municipalities. ”

Odalys Marchant reiterated that the protocols guided by the Ministry of Public Health will be maintained aimed at guarantee the disinfection of the hands and surfaces at the entrance of each premise. Similarly, the entities will ensure that workers with respiratory symptoms do not attend any establishment, nor interact with consumers.
