Student in third year of Medicine,"Good morning, is everything okay?" He caresses with his eyes, observes deeply and searches. Thus, every morning, the third-year Medicine student, Andy García, fulfills one of the missions that go deep inside him since he started his career, despite not being the most difficult. He knows what it entails. He is an active member and core support of the 22nd Family Doctor and Nurse Office in this city.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The Popular Council 18, located in the residential area of the Santos neighborhood, in this city, is not the only one that will keep his steps by the Primero de Enero Avenue in the last dawns of spring.

Before, as soon as the commitment was requested, he inquired on the areas of La Victoria and Aguilera neighborhoods. There, the inhabitants also thank him for his perseverance in detecting the potential suspected cases of the coronavirus in the community.

“As I live in this part of Buena Vista,” he says, “I was located here in the health area of the Gustavo Aldereguía polyclinic because now with the limitations of transportation it is much better for me and I continue to be useful. Every day the patients cooperate more and I strive to make this moment a pleasant one.”

And as he speaks, the smile sprouts from his eyes and the words of commitment sound clear, underneath that mask that covers his young face and reveals a sensitive heart. Andy will be a good doctor. Every day can proudly say ... mission accomplished!

My applause also goes to him and to the more than 28,000 students who do it throughout the Island.
