Services are out of operation

As of March 25, 2020, the Cuban Post offices neither receive nor send correspondence, parcels or packages abroad, due to the interruption of postal services due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Business Group reported. "Clients will be warned of possible delays to other destinations in the national territory."

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The entity specified that it will return to its clients the postal shipments that cannot be routed to their final destination, at no cost to the senders. "All postal shipments arriving in Cuba will be delivered within the possibilities that exist at the time of receipt, in our offices or at home, if the client requests it," was also announced.

The Cuban Post Office stressed that on its website http://www.correos.cu/ users can receive updated information, to know and track the location of postal items and other services, as well as issue comments and receive responses in working days and hours.

More than 70 percent of the members of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) has reported cases of Covid-19. In fact, the universal postal service has been interrupted in several countries, as more than 15 airlines have suspended or limited their flights to different points in various regions of the world.
