The president of the Cuban Parliament, Esteban Lazo, received today the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and president of the National Assembly of that country, Vuong Dinh Hue.

Havana, Cuba.- In the National Capitol, the venue of the Cuban Parliament, leaders of the National Assembly of People’s Power welcomed the guest and his delegation on this official visit, with all the honors befitting his position and the brotherhood between the two peoples.

The day before Vuong Dinh Hue participated in the first extraordinary session of the island’s Parliament in its 10th Legislature, dedicated to the 62nd anniversary of the victory at Playa Giron.

On that occasion, he stressed his affection and admiration for Cubans and reassured his country’s commitment to continue supporting the Cuban cause in the international arena, as well as to increase cooperation and strengthen ties of friendship. (PL)
