In Maisí, the head of state reaffirmed his confidence to solve problems by working together.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today visited the eastern provinces of Holguín and Las Tunas, as part of the tours carried out by Cuba's leadership to discuss work priorities for 2024.

Havana, Cuba.- Through his profile on the social network X, the Cuban president announced his program for this Friday, and thanked the municipalities of Maisí, in Guantánamo, and Río Cauto, in Granma for the affection with which he had received the day before.

Cuba rises every day above the difficulties and creates. We lived it in Maisí and Río Cauto, land of #GenteQueSuma (#PeopleWhoadd), hardworking and enthusiastic people, Díaz-Canel wrote in his message. Accompanied by the Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee, Roberto Morales, and local authorities, he visited several productive and service centers, evaluated the progress of local development projects, and talked with the people of Guantanamo and Granma.

The point is that here we work, and when we work, we will always go above the problems, above the blockade. And this is what we saw again today here, in Maisí and Río Cauto, Díaz-Canel told the population.

According to the Presidential website, in a dialogue with about a hundred locals, who expressed their sympathies and admiration, the head of state reaffirmed his confidence to solve problems by working together. (PL)
