Cuba is crowned as the first cultural destination in the world.

Cuban tourism authorities said that the Tripadvisor travel platform granted Cuba its Best of the Best awards.

Havana, Cuba.- The Spanish digital publication Buenviajeacuba, pointed out in its Friday edition that Cuba had received the Best of the Best award on Tripadvisor, after it revealed the selection of winning sites of the Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best 2024, and Cuba appeared in several categories.

According to Tripadvisor’s list, Cuba is crowned as the first cultural destination in the world. It also ranks second among the most popular places in the Caribbean and is 18th among the best gastronomic destinations.

According to the documents, Havana is a blend of old-world architecture and modern-day culture, and outside the capital, visit the village of Trinidad to see more Spanish colonial architecture.

Trinidad city was declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It is a magnificent base of operations to visit the so-called Valle de los Ingenios (Sugarmills’ Valley).

Regarding must-visits in Cuba, Tripadvisor suggested Varadero Beach, Havana’s historic center, the Viñales Valley, and Pilar Beach on Cayo Guillermo, among others. (PL)
