The Jardines del Rey recreational center (center-north) is getting ready for the 42nd International Tourism Fair (FITCuba 2024) scheduled to be held there from May 1 to 5, it was announced officially.

The general director of Business Projects of the Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA), Frank Pavón, announced that for the first time, the Long Term Evolution (LTE) cellular network will reach the tourist center.

This network will operate in the 700 and 900 MHZ frequencies, which will improve the service in the whole area. He also specified that the wireless communication system will have new radio bases located at strategic points. (PL)
