Havana, Cuba.- Habanos S.A., through its official distributor for Asia Pacific, The Pacific Cigar Co, will present in a world debut the Bolivar Soberano, 10 cigars rolled totally by hand with long leaves.
The ligature is made up with leaves from the zone of Vuelta Abajo, Cuban western region of Pinar del Río, especially appreciated by the more expert tobacco smokers.
The presentation of Bolívar Soberano will be made in Hong Kong, in an event where participants will have the privilege to taste this new habano, insists the official note.
The Bolívar Soberano (54 mm thick by 140 mm long) will be presented in a special box of 10 units. With Soberano, will be exhibited for the first time the cigar band "Duke" totally unedited in the portfolio of this Brand. This is a strong habano, where the cigar lover can enjoy a balanced and aromatic smoke of the Brand in a totally new format.
The Limited Editions of Habanos are very much appreciated and expected every year by smokers.
They are characterized because its bands or types are not found in the regular assortment of the brand's portfolio and are distinguished by a careful selection of all its leaves, which are aged for a period of not less than two years.
The Bolívar brand was created in 1902 and owes its name to Simón Bolívar, one of the great figures of the 19th Century known in history as the liberator of a great part of South America from Spanish colonization.
That is why and in accordance with the historic figure that gives it name, this habano is characterized by its strong flavor. Without doubt, Bolívar is one of the brands with greater strength of all that form the universe of habanos.
The Pacific Cigar Company Limited is exclusive distributor for Habanos, S.A. in the regiuon of Asia-Pacific since June, 1992, and leads the retail cannel in Asia-Pacific with 32 stores in the region.
