With the proposal of a journey in time, through various exhibitions, the Fernando García Grave de Peralta municipal museum welcomed hundreds of children and young people, this Thursday, as part of the festivities for International Museum Day in Puerto Padre.

Puerto Padre, Las Tunas.- A temporary exhibition of objects belonging to the aboriginal community, from findings in different parts of the city, served as a welcome to the visitors. Meanwhile, some rooms of the building housed history samples, showing pieces related to the periods of the national liberation struggle; and also natural sciences, where, once again, expressions of astonishment resounded everywhere.

"We decided to set up small spaces, given the construction conditions that the institution has been presenting for some years, to celebrate the date and also because it is a popular clamor to return to visit the collections," Nelson Hernández Velázquez, director of the cultural entity, said.

Likewise, Hernández Velázquez recognized the future intentions, despite the dissimilar material limitations. “So far, we have the idea because other conditions still have to be created, so that it is a permanent exhibition, at least during the summer. Later, we will let the public know what the schedules will be.
