Children always find a source of inspiration in the Cucalambeana Fiesta. This time they were not seen running around the grounds of El Cornito, riding a horse or admiring the bamboos that draw the landscape; but they did not miss the online event, and they knew how to impregnate joys.

Diversity, Essence and Identity Forum

As part of the 53 Cucalambeana Fiesta that takes place this time in an online edition, the Diversity, Essence and Identity Forum, organized by the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade (BJM) and the Provincial Center of Cultural Centers (CPCC) was held.

A friend dies and you have a hole in your chest as if something else was removed, a fibrous part. If that friend is also a great poet, it hurts twice as much. But finding him when half a year has passed since his departure, precisely between his verses, leaves that bittersweet flavor of at least having known him and that he will continue alive thanks to poetry.

Jonathan Demian is a man of verses, a deep heart and a soul ready to share his goodness with the universe. Life recently put him to the test by contracting the COVID -19 in his country, Ecuador. While recovering from illness, poetry was that breath he needed to keep going.
