They arrive from rural communities, full of excitement, confident that surprises await them. Girls and boys from rural schools, along with guides, enjoy a summer village in Puerto Padre, set up at the Casita Azucarada educational institution.

Puerto Padre, Las Tunas.- The third rotation is underway. They come from various towns in Santa María and also from Santa Bárbara.

For many, it's the first time they've left home alone, and although they miss it, they feel comfortable. Children already have new friends and enjoy activities. Besides visiting museums and other sites of interest, the beach becomes the biggest attraction.

The Camilo Cienfuegos Gorriarán Pioneer Palace collective contributes to supporting them. Yoania Martínez, the director, corroborates the effort to provide unforgettable days for the best students from rural schools.
