Las Tunas Graphic Productions Base Business Unit fulfilled its notebook production program for the new school year that began this Monday, by completing 330,400 units.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Thus, the notebooks destined for this initial stage were guaranteed for both, general education students and university centers, Marisol Torres Vázquez, director of the entity, told the Cuban News Agency.

Relatives of the students organize the books and notebooks of the children and adolescents, a special event because it is a new study program, and they meet other teachers and classmates.

Las Tunas is the only province to start the 2022-2023 calendar, the others are responsible for resuming the 2021-2022 academic year since they did not complete the school period due to the effects of the pandemic.

Part of the manufactured school material is destined for educational centers in the provinces of Santiago de Cuba, Guantánamo, Holguín, and Camagüey.

Torres Vázquez highlighted the quality of the 96 page-notebooks, lined, and made with bond paper and cardboard cover. (ACN)
