The investment consists in the installation of 1.2 kilometers of polyethylene pipes

The work carried out in Jobabo to guarantee the water supply to the 14 de Junio polyclinic with hospitalization service is more than 90 percent complete, an institution that, due to the epidemiological situation, uses more than 150 cubic meters of the liquid.

Jobabo, Las Tunas.- The investment consists in the installation of 1.2 kilometers of polyethylene pipes of 110 millimeters in diameter, already buried, with which the healthcare center will be provided stably, with prioritized and feasible schedules, to avoid affectations, at times when it is more essential due to the high admission of patients and the multiplication of hygiene tasks.

The brigade of the Provincial Delegation of Hydraulic Resources of Las Tunas, in charge of the works, drills the land near wells one and two of the well-known Entomophagous and Entomopathogens Reproductive Center (CREE), from where the water will come out daily to the institution. The work is directed to the placement of hoses, the tees, and the shut-off valves destined to interrupt the service to the population while the polyclinic is supplied.

The pumping equipment that will be used is already installed in both supply sources, which meet the conditions and technical parameters necessary for the operation and stable supply of the liquid.
