Young people studying Medical Sciences in Las Tunas accompany each day of the mass vaccination against COVID-19, which requires joint efforts; but students who belong to different teachings are participating too.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Those who are trained as doctors are in the vaccination centers in taking the blood pressure of the people; they fill out the necessary documents for population registries, accompany them in the waiting rooms, and also in the recovery rooms for vaccinated people.

Some contribute their health knowledge, taking advantage of the opportunity as a professional improvement; others support each action where it is needed.

“We also have students from the Middle School Student Federation (FEEM). They are providing accompaniment services to people, decorate the places designated as vaccination centers. Besides, they have summoned the residents of each place to come on time and on the scheduled day to receive the anti-COVID-19 injection,” she added.

The strength of a country, of its young people, will also go into the history that is written about the Abdala vaccine in Las Tunas.
