Las Tunas governor votes in 2023 national elections

The governor of Las Tunas, Jaime Ernesto Chiang Vega, highlighted here today how the national elections process has involved all the people, with a greater protagonism of the candidates for deputies with the places for which they were nominated.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- After exercising his right to vote in the second polling station, constituency 97 of district one of this city, Chiang Vega pondered the popular wisdom in defense of his Revolution, the opportunity to express again the support to the country through the ballot boxes, and above all the frank statement of the people regarding their concerns, suggestions, and the demand of a greater link of those who have the responsibility to materialize that demand to look for alternatives to the problems and difficulties for the greater welfare of the people.

He considered as an important and decisive moment this 26th day in which more than 389 thousand voters of the province go to the polls to exercise their right to vote and reaffirm the unity and the conviction to defend the social project that pursues the construction of that happier and more prosperous Cuba that the people deserve.

The province dawned with all the insurance and everything ready in each one of the 1,260 polling stations distributed in the eight municipalities, the insurance plans, communications, transportation, food, and all the documentation. Each polling station has its ballot boxes and the electoral authorities working, the ballots, the pamphlets, and in each one the transparency of the process governs.
