Puerto Padre's voters go to the polls.

The dawn of March 26 rolled the curtains of a day of present and future for Cuba, where the people will elect the 470 deputies to the National Assembly of People's Power, as a culmination of a process that began with the selection of candidates based on proposals from mass organizations and municipal delegates.

Puerto Padre, Las Tunas - With the sun still "asleep," Yanisleydis Fernández López, the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in Puerto Padre, accompanied the neighbors of the military district to open the doors of the polling station number one of the Constituency 69.

"It is a day of unity, victory, and Revolution. As all citizens, we have the right to vote, especially in these difficult times that the country is going through, both in the economic sphere and in the campaigns of the enemy that seeks to destabilize life on the Island. That is why we call on the people of Puerto Puerto to vote, to go to the polls early, to turn this date into a celebration of democracy", Fernández López said.

"We fulfilled our duty to the Homeland. We, the grateful ones, today go to the polls, and we give our united vote because the candidates meet the requirements.
