2023 May Day Parade in Las Tunas

Organized in 15 blocks, the workers of Las Tunas went out to Major General Vicente García González Revolution Plaza. A day that was opened by the civilian workers of defense and that concluded with a “Jump for Fidel” by the Parachuting Club, the second that these lands have hosted so far this month.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- An intense sun, music everywhere, slogans in the wind, and the joy that characterizes this date marked the dawn for these properties. The best proof of the dedication of the working class, who is at the foot of the canyon to steer the economy, provide services in difficult times, and maintain others, which are vital and also required the capital dedication of those born here.

2023 May Day Parade in Las Tunas

Odalis Batista Pérez, the secretary-general of the Central Union of Cuban Workers (CTC) in Las Tunas, when inaugurated the parade, spoke of the founding fathers of the Homeland and the need to continue their work. She said that today Cuba summons because needs everyone's effort to face many obstacles, and assured that, together, in a tight squad, we are stronger.

Some 250 thousand workers from all over the province lived the celebrations; once again, the flags of the free Homeland ratified the commitment to freedom.
