15th National Internal Control Check is held in Las Tunas.

From September 18,  the 15th National Internal Control Verification is being carried out, in which a group of entities is evaluated in terms of the strengthening of the Socialist State Enterprise, administrative management, and efficient use of resources.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- This exercise, led by the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic, carries out some 200 control actions by auditors, university students, and experts, who were duly trained during the first fortnight of this month.

Marbelis Almaguer Infante, the chief comptroller in Las Tunas de Las Tunas, told the press that "for this verification, we have a sample of ten entities, where compliance audits are carried out and four goals are evaluated. Number one, related to exports, which includes Thaba Cuba, which is a leading company in this area. "We also have the province's tobacco company, with its two subsidiary companies in the municipalities of Puerto Padre and "Jesús Menéndez."

"Another goal, goal six, is related to construction and housing materials, here we have two sample entities which are the Empresa de Materiales de la Construcción and Duralmet. Goal seven has to do with transportation, and the company of the sector in the province is evaluated, specifically the UEBs of the localities of 'Colombia' and Puerto Padre."

"Goal eight which is the one that analyzes everything related to water resources, evaluates the Water and Sewage Company and the UEB of Sanitation."

Likewise, the chief comptroller referred to the work team of this National Audit, which runs until October 30, that includes about 120 auditors, in addition to third-year students of Accounting and Finance, as well as ten students of the short cycle career who are graduating this year and participating for the second time in this evaluation.
