Las Tunas began the process of selecting its direct delegates to the 12th Congress of the Young Communist League (UJC in Spanish), which will take place in April 2024 in Havana.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- Jobabo had the scoop, at the 14 de Junio Teaching Hospital, where after the scrutiny Carmen Viera Clark was elected. She is the secretary of the Base Health Committee.

Her colleagues recognized her results in the link to the main internal tasks, as well as in the functioning of the structure of her work center.

The credential that identifies her with such high honors was granted by Lianet Paso Cedeño, a member of the National Bureau of the UJC and president of the José Martí Pioneers Organization in the country.

Viera Clark said she felt very honored to be the first delegate in the province and expressed her commitment to defending, from her position, the needs and concerns of the members of the organization in higher instances.

LUDEMA HAS ITS YOUNG VOICE

The industrial engineer Marianela Domenech Alarcón, from the LUDEMA Furniture base business unit, joined this representation by becoming the second direct delegate of the Cuban Eastern Balcony to the youth conclave.

This 26-year-old girl is the head of Human Capital of the emblematic furniture industry of this territory. Her peers elected her for her merits in her professional life during the four years she has been with the factory.
