Even amid the economic difficulties facing the country, the budget that the Cuban state dedicates every year to supporting the objectives and goals of the economic plan, and the satisfaction of the basic services of the population and primary and strategic sectors, is an example of the nation's commitment to maintaining economic and social development in each province.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- In the municipality of Las Tunas alone, for example, total expenditures are planned to exceed 1.357 billion 400 thousand pesos by 2024, with high figures dedicated to Public Health, with 452 million 817 thousand 100 pesos, and Education with more than 363 million.

The health sector will strengthen the structure and operation of polyclinics, nursing, grandparents, and maternity homes; as well as the Mother and Child and the Family Doctor and Nurse programs.

Amounts exceeding 86 million pesos are allocated to Social Assistance to support solutions for vulnerable people with the delivery of resources and subsidies aimed at the construction of houses whose inhabitants are not financially solvent.

Sport, physical education and recreation, culture, housing construction, commerce, and community services are also protected.

In the economic plan, the municipality of Las Tunas has important goals in the areas of net sales, trade, commerce, gastronomy, services to the population, and the food industry.
