Las Tunas Grain Agro-Industrial Company seeks for the revitalization of its production

The search for foreign investment during the current year stands out as the main priority among the prospects of the Las Tunas Grain Agro-Industrial Company, for the revitalization of its production and the financing of its processes.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- This intention, which began in 2023 with the launch of the commercial seal under the AGER brand, included the preparation of dossiers for national and international contractors, a project that the entity will announce before April.

Now, immersed in the signing of opportunities for the establishment of an International Economic Partnership, the company is evaluating and completing the basic means and properties for commercialization, as well as training the workforce towards quality certification.

Omar Pérez López, the director-general, said that the development of a productive analysis that supports economic solvency, after the insertion in the market based on strategic objectives, with the promotion of its logo, brand, and a wide variety of products that support its commercial identity, is the basis of the company.

The assembly of its online platform for e-commerce, the incorporation of new inputs for export, a strong marketing campaign for marketplace positioning, and integration with state and private producers, are among the projections and growth opportunities for AGER.

The Grain Processing, Drying, and Packing Plant provides the entity with significant revenue streams from the processing and marketing not only of rice but also of corn, beans, and peanuts, which could become an inescapable economic injection for the province and the country.
