The members of the Federation of Students of Middle Education (FEEM) met last night in this city to present the Making History Campaign, on the 50th anniversary of the organization. 

Las Tunas, Cuba.- The call was made from the now Vicente García provincial museum, which was the first center for Higher Secondary Education founded on this province and, despite the notable sanitary measures adopted, a representation of students attended.

"Heaven blesses us. Right after the launch of our campaign, it breaks down to rain,” wrote one of the boys on social media. And others attested to their joy at the event, which will make them the protagonists of various activities in the remainder of the year.

The good results of the province at work are laudable. And, behind the scenes, they comment on the aims to host the national event for these five decades. With that aspiration they work these days, being part of the confrontation with SARS-Cov-2, for the hygiene of our spaces and in whatever task their dedication and their smile are necessary.

The local group Conexión Urbana (Urban Connection) has already composed a song for them to accompany the festivities. And they announce, enthusiastic, that on the 28th and 29th of this month they will be recording the video clip. The idea is to make the strength of the younger generation and its many reasons for celebrations known with joy in every corner of the territory.

FEEM will celebrate its 50th anniversary on December 6. However, its members, who remain active in studying and in tasks associated with health prevention, social discipline and even food production, have celebrated the event throughout the year.
