Provincial Company of Passenger Transport and General Cargo (CARDINAL) participates in delivery of packages

With the recent insertion to the group of Cuban entities that deliver packages arrived from abroad, the Provincial Company of Passenger Transport and General Cargo (CARDINAL) participates in the solution of one of the biggest problems the country is facing today.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- "Helping to update the distribution, and thereby eliminating the dissatisfaction of many people, both senders, and recipients, is a challenge that we assume at a very complex time, but that we meet and maintain without setbacks,” said Boris Suárez Galindo, manager at the head of the service.

"We began, on September 1st of this year, the delivery of parcels contracted through the Aerovaradero Company, which arrives in Holguín, and once in the province, we take it to the door of the customer's house in the eight municipalities, in a term no longer than 72 hours.

"We were doing it only with the means of transport of our company but, this October 1st, we began to receive the collaboration of workers from non-state forms of management, specifically, those of the Tony Garage electric motorcycle workshop, which incorporated into the distribution through the Alamano proposal.”

This allows, he said, to distribute more agilely in the city of Las Tunas, the largest in the province, in which later they intend to expand this home assistance by carrying other goods that people request through the routes that will be informed in the following days.

"So far, the service has been praised by many clients and we assure them that it has already been decided to maintain the contract with Aerovaradero and, very soon, we will sign with more companies that receive parcels in Holguín and other provinces."

In the first month of foray into this work, CARDINAL Las Tunas delivered around 1,600 packages to more than 320 people.
