The initiative to order the sale of essential products in the Cimex and Caribe network stores with the support of the network of Stores of Regulated Main Supplies is taken up again, in order to equitably benefit a greater number of people with such items and prevent phenomena such as hoarding and speculation. 

Active Military ServiceWith the implementation of all the measures established for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 and taking into account the need to maintain the country's defensive preparation, the calls for young people to join the Active Military Service (SMA by its Spanish acronyms) of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) have been resumed last September 1.

Thanks to the auspices of the Youth Computing and Electronic Club, young people from this eastern Cuban province take part in the international meeting Americas Girls Can Code that is organized by the International Telecommunications Union and the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications, and promotes the knowledge of the universe of the programming and its opportunities.

Covers for notebooks on sale

The resumption of the 2019-2020 school year also reached this eastern Cuban province with the renewed offer of the local Post Office Company of covers for notebooks and books, which the students use on their return to the classrooms on September 1, complying with the sanitary measures imposed by the new coronavirus pandemic.
