The National History Congress moved to Puerto Padre on Tuesday.

The National History Congress held its second day of work in Puerto Padre, a region where the delegates were welcomed on a decorated Libertad Avenue; also, a commemorative plaque was unveiled in the afternoon at the Fernando Grave de Peralta Museum, in the presence of the province's leading authorities.

The History Students' Meeting took place this Monday as part of the program of the 26th National History Congress, hosted by the University of Las Tunas, with the presence of national and local authorities. The event brought together young people from different Cuban provinces to discuss their academic training, professional integration, and connection with the Union of Cuban Historians (UNHIC).

When Jorge Luis Aneiros Alonso, president of the National History Congress, inaugurated the 26th edition of the conclave, first to be held on Las Tunas soil, it was impossible not to feel a dose of pride for our homeland.

The official activities of the 26th National History Congress began this morning in Las Tunas. However, for several days now, the Organizing Committee and participants have been actively working to put together a worthy event. 26 took advantage of one of the few moments of rest for Jorge Luis Aneiros Alonso, president of the Union of Cuban Historians (UNHIC), and the conclave, to delve into the foundations of a long-standing and necessary event.

The rural community of San Alberto, in the municipality of Amancio, could become the largest agricultural production pole in this southern territory, as it covers some 200 hectares and could reach 300 in the long term.
