Electricity workers

At the edge of noon today, Las Tunas electric workers had already restored the service in several of the 31 circuits affected in the province by the winds associated with Tropical Storm Laura.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- René Rocío Pupo, deputy director of the Company here, told 26Digital that they are working intensely to restore the electric fluid in the primary circuits and electrical substations during the working day.

He explained that as a result of the wind gusts of more than 60 kilometers per hour, eight circuits were left open (disconnected from the system) in the provincial capital, nine in "Amancio", six in Majibacoa, four in Manatí, two in "Jesús Menéndez”, and the same number in Puerto Padre, which are being closed (connected) after they are checked.

As soon as this situation is fully normalized, the interruptions that may be pending of the 273 reported by customers throughout the territory will be reviewed.
