Pharmaceutical exports amounted to 196 million dollars between January and October, while medical exports recorded revenues of 87 million dollars

Exports of the Egyptian medical and pharmaceutical industries reached 791 million dollars in the first 10 months of 2022, a yearly growth of 46 percent, reported a source from the sector.

Cairo.- According to a statement from the Export Council of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries, foreign sales of cosmetics accounted for 508 million dollars during the period, an increase of 118 percent over the previous period.

Pharmaceutical exports amounted to 196 million dollars between January and October, while medical exports recorded revenues of 87 million dollars.

The Council stated that the objective for 2030 is to increase exports of the sector by 30 percent. (PL)
