The Central Act for Cuban Press Day, in Las Tunas, took place this March 14 with the participation of colleagues from the provincial media and national correspondents, after experiencing similar events with groups from the south and north regions.

Las Tunas, Cuba.- In the activity, laurels were awarded for the Work of the Year, and the event had its highlight moment with the presentation of the Rosano Zamora Paadín Provincial Journalism Award for the Work of Life to the prominent journalist Juan Morales Agüero.

Another special chapter was the granting of the Félix Elmusa Distinction, which recognized the professional career of Yoel Romero and Andrés Machado Conte, the latter having won the National Prize for Cultural Journalism, and with a distinguished career that began in 26.

In the closing words, Miguel Enrique Brito Fernández, head of the Ideological Department of the Provincial Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC), called to continue the committed work, exalt the truth, and confront the constant bombardment against the Cuban Revolution.
